Jerry – We’re seeing that snow too! First day out this weekend – had to head to the central Wasatch as the neighborhood fills in. Been enjoying your blog since Mike turned me onto it – and share it often. This last header was a hit at my work in a psych hospital! Do you ever get up to Salt Lake? You’re always welcome here up the canyon – we ski out the back yard – only about 9,000 but due north and usually good. We’re in NJ where we’ve been for 2 1/2 months (mostly) with Sus’ mother in the hospital. Tonight Sus, her sister Deb and I had dinner to Jazz Goes to College and Take Five. We drank a toast to Dave Brubeck, one my primary musical influences. I took it seriously and personally when “real” jazz aficionados would say that Brubeck was “too easy to understand” and if idiots like me could “get” his music, he wasn’t really jazz. He ramained until his death one of the real musicians of his era. Thanks for putting up the article.
