Very interesting in that it ran last night, 36-48
hours after the cessation of the last storm.
The last storm brought 12″ of low density
snow with little /no wind. There has been no
significant wind last night and yesterday was very
calm.

It would be good if Peter Lev would weigh in on this subject as he is the learned scholar on tidal effect as a contributory factor in avalanche release.
